The Store

FDTA-Valles (Foundation for the Technical Agricultural Development of the Valleys) has set up an electronic Store for the convenience of anyone interested in accessing the different products offered.

The Market Information Service (SIMA) presents the standard products from our Store:

Daily National Bulletin:
Distributed by eMail, the bulletin reports the daily movement of more than 500 agricultural products and their prices (high and low) in the wholesale markets of Sucre, La Paz, Cochabamba, Tarija and Santa Cruz de la Sierra, including Salta (Argentina) and Arequipa (Peru). The products are differentiated by size, variety and origin.
The subscription includes a weekly report and tendency graphs for a selected product during the last 18 weeks.

Price History:
A price history (high and low) consists of one product selected for one or more markets and a specified time period, starting May 1, 2002, according to data availability.
You may select from among over 500 agricultural products to display prices for the wholesale markets of Sucre, La Paz, Cochabamba, Tarija and Santa Cruz de la Sierra. Prices for the markets of Salta (Argentina) and Arequipa (Peru) are available from January 2004.
Products may be diferentiated by size, variety and origin.

2004 Annual Summary:
The Annual Summary of Perishable Agricultural Commodity Wholesale Market Prices of Bolivia reports from the internal wholesale markets of Sucre, La Paz, Cochabamba, Tarija and Santa Cruz de la Sierra and external markets of Salta (Argentina) and Arequipa (Peru). The Annual Summary is available for purchase as an interactive CD with product information organized according to variety, size and origin and presented in both Spanish, with prices in Bolivianos, and English, with prices in American dollars.
