SIMA - (Market Information Service)

FDTA-Valles (Foundation for the Technical Agricultural Development of the Valleys) has established a Documentation Center that compiles, stores, classifies and offers specialized and updated sectorial information.

This Documentation Center is one of the most modern and updated agricultural libraries of Latin America, due to its incorporation of TEEAL (The Essential Electronic Agricultural Library). TEEAL is produced by the University of Cornell and consists of 426 CD ROMs, with 1.8 million pages of information published in more than 140 specialized publications, and selected by 600 international scientists.

The Documentation Center also has a traditional library, composed by more than 510 registries in printed publications, audio-visual and electronic form.

The Documentation Center offers a variety of services, including attention to specific requests, as well as preparation and delivery of updated catalogs. The efforts of the Documentation Center are in support of the work of grantees and institutions related to FDTA-Valles.
