We hit the nail on the head
We are concluding our Foundation’s fourth year of activities and, once more, we can say that we have accomplished the task entrusted to us — the Foundation has succeeded.

| Nos planteamos un enorme desafío: incrementar el ingreso de las familias de agricultores, a través del desarrollo agropecuario mediante la innovación tecnológica. Aceptamos la propuesta del Gobierno de Bolivia para ser los operadores de un nuevo modelo de apoyo al sector. Recibimos el apoyo de la comunidad internacional. Nos organizamos rápidamente y, del mismo modo, iniciamos nuestro trabajo en el campo. |

We set ourselves an enormous challenge: to increase the income of farming families by introducing innovative technology to enhance agricultural development. We accepted the Bolivian Government’s proposal to implement a new support model for the sector. We received the support of the international community. We quickly got ourselves organized and set to work in the field. |

| Hemos concluido los primeros catorce proyectos y hemos logrado duplicar, en promedio, el ingreso de más de cinco mil familias. Tenemos cincuenta y cuatro proyectos en ejecución para replicar y consolidar lo avanzado, incluyendo a otras trece mil familias más. |

We have concluded the first fourteen projects and have, on average, succeeded in doubling the income of more than five thousand households. We have fifty-four projects currently underway that carry on the lessons we have learned and will bring similar benefits to another thirteen thousand families. |

| Hemos desarrollado sistemas y metodologías de trabajo consistentes, enfocadas, comprensivas y eficientes y hemos conformado un equipo de trabajo de muy alto nivel. No sólo hemos cumplido con el mandato de la Asamblea y el compromiso con el Gobierno de Bolivia. Nuevas fuentes de financiamiento confían en nosotros. |

We have developed systems and methodologies that are consistent, focused, comprehensive and efficient and we have put together a highly skilled, dedicated work team. Not only have we achieved with the Assembly’s mandate and the commitment made to the Bolivian Government, but new donor agencies are also trusting us to efficiently use their funds. |
